REN is compatible with a range of sports watches and wearables, and we're always working on increasing our options for integration. If your device isn't listed below, we're likely working hard behind the scenes. Below you'll find a breakdown by brand, including any known limitations on workout syncing.
Apple Watch
REN supports all Apple Watch models that are currently supported by Apple. You can check whether your model is still supported on Apple's device support page.
Garmin
REN is compatible with the full Garmin range. If you experience any issues with a specific model, please reach out and we'll look into it. You can check Garmin's Product comparison page for their listed features for each model.
Polar
REN supports a direct sync from Polar Flow, so your completed runs will appear in REN automatically. However, please note that this is currently a one-way sync - REN can import your activities from Polar, but cannot send structured workouts back to your Polar device.
Suunto
REN now integrates directly with Suunto, no need to go via Apple Health anymore.
Once connected, you get a full two-way sync: your completed Suunto runs flow into REN automatically, and your REN training plan syncs to your Suunto watch as SuuntoPlus Guides, so your workouts show up on the right day, ready to start.
Unlike the previous Apple Health workaround, this direct connection isn't limited to distance and time. Pace and other key metrics are also imported, so your training plan reflects what you actually did.
To connect: open REN, go to Settings, open Connected accounts, and tap Suunto. Sign in with your Suunto account when prompted, enable all permissions, and confirm.
Intervals.icu
Intervals.icu is a free training analytics platform that works as a hub between REN and your other training tools. Once connected, completed workouts flow in from any platform you have linked to Intervals.icu, and structured REN workouts flow out to your devices.
Please note that for structured REN workouts to sync with the correct pace targets, you must have Threshold Speed set in your Intervals.icu athlete settings. You can find your Critical Speed (CS) pace in REN under Settings > Thresholds - use this as the value to enter in Intervals.icu. Without it, pace targets will not transfer correctly.
Please also note that Strava activities are not included in this sync due to limitations on Strava's end. For more detail on setting up the integration, check out our article.
