You can connect REN to Apple Health so your runs flow into the app automatically — and send structured REN workouts straight to your Apple Watch to follow on your wrist.
Here’s how it works and what you still need to do manually.
Syncing runs from Apple Health to REN
Step 1 – Connect Apple Health
Open REN
Go to Settings
Tap Connected accounts
Select Apple Health
Follow the prompts to open the Apple Health permissions screen
Toggle everything ON for REN (especially anything related to workouts, running, and distance)
Confirm and go back to REN
With that done, REN can read your running workouts from Apple Health.
Step 2 – What gets synced?
Once connected, REN can pull in:
Runs recorded with your Apple Watch
Runs recorded with other apps that write to Apple Health, if permissions are enabled
This means your training log in REN can stay up to date without you having to enter every run manually.
What you still need to fill in manually
Even when runs are synced from Apple Health, REN still needs your feedback to coach you properly.
After a synced run, REN will ask you:
How hard was the workout?
How did you feel?
Was it the planned workout?
(Only if there was a specific workout scheduled for that day.)
This feedback helps REN understand not just what you did, but how your body responded, so it can adjust future training.
Sending REN workouts to your Apple Watch
You can also do the opposite: send a structured REN workout to your Apple Watch and follow it directly from your wrist.
How to push a workout to Apple Watch
Open the workout in REN
In the top-right corner, tap the arrow icon
Choose Send to Apple Watch
The workout will then be available on your Apple Watch so you can:
Follow the structured intervals
Get on-watch prompts for segments (e.g. warm-up, reps, cool-down)
Stay focused on running instead of checking your phone
In short
Connect via Settings → Connected accounts → Apple Health, then toggle everything ON
REN can import runs from Apple Health, but you still need to answer:
How hard was the workout?
How did you feel?
Was it the planned workout?
You can send structured REN workouts to Apple Watch by tapping the arrow icon in the top-right of a workout and selecting Send to Apple Watch
Once set up, Apple Health + REN + Apple Watch work together so you can just run — and let the data and coaching stay in sync.
