When you first open REN, you’ll go through a short onboarding process so we can tailor your training plan to your needs. Here’s how it works:
Choose Your Goal
You’ll select a race or distance you want to prepare for:Start to Run (3-month beginner plan)
5k, 10k, 15k, 10 miles, Half Marathon, or Marathon
Enter a Personal Best (optional)
Share your current or past best time for any distance. This helps us set realistic pacing and progress expectations.Add Personal Information
We’ll ask for:Weight, height, year of birth, gender
(Optional) Heart rate data if you track it
Indicate Your Experience Level
We’ll categorize you as:Beginner (running less than 1 year)
Intermediate (1–3 years of consistent training)
Trained/Elite (3+ years of consistent training)
We’ll also ask about training frequency (once per week, 2–3 times, or 4+ times), plus whether you do other endurance or core activities like cycling, yoga, or Pilates.
Set Your Availability
Tell us how many days per week you can train.
Once completed, REN will generate a current race prediction (if you didn’t choose “Start to Run”), as well as a predicted finish time at the end of your plan (with a margin of variation). Finally, you’ll get your personalized Training Plan.
