The situation
After uploading an activity, REN gives feedback or suggestions that don't seem to match what you actually did. For example, REN might suggest adjusting your paces based on a recovery run, or give feedback as if you did an interval session when you actually went for an easy jog.
Why this happens
REN links your activities to your scheduled workouts to give you relevant feedback and pace suggestions. If REN thinks an activity was your planned workout when it actually wasn't — or the other way around — the feedback won't make sense.
What to check
When you give feedback on an activity, there's a Planned Workout toggle on the feedback screen. This toggle tells REN whether the activity you're reviewing was the workout it had scheduled for you.
- If the activity was not your planned workout (e.g. an extra recovery run, a social run, or a race), make sure the toggle is off.
- If the activity was your planned workout, make sure the toggle is on.
- If you completed your planned workout at a different time or on a different day, turn the toggle on for that activity instead.
Good to know
Getting this toggle right helps REN understand which activities to use for pace recommendations and training feedback. Whenever the feedback feels off, checking the Planned Workout toggle is a good first step.
