You can access the Settings & Profile menu from the upper right corner of the home screen of the REN app. This menu lets you customize your experience, update personal details, and manage how REN adapts your training.
Here’s a breakdown of each section:
Settings
General app settings, including display options and basic preferences.
Connections
Garmin: You can already connect your Garmin watch to sync workouts and activity data directly.
Apple iOS: Coming soon — you’ll be able to link Apple devices and services.
Availability
Update how many days per week you’re available to train. REN will automatically adjust your training plan to fit your schedule.
Training Goal
Change or update your current running goal (Start to Run, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, etc.). REN will recalculate your training plan based on your new target.
Personal Details
Edit your basic information such as:
Weight
Height
Year of birth
Gender
(Optional) Heart rate data
Keeping this up to date ensures accurate pacing and predictions.
Athletic Profile
Adjust your experience level (Beginner, Intermediate, Trained/Elite) and cross-training habits. This helps REN better understand your background and adapt your plan accordingly.
Thresholds & Explainers
View and learn about your key physiological benchmarks:
VO₂max Pace (VO) → Your maximum aerobic capacity
Critical Speed (CS) → The pace you can sustain for a long time before fatiguing
Aerobic Threshold (AeT) → The point where running effort shifts from easy aerobic to more challenging
REN provides explainers for each threshold so you know what they mean and how they guide your training. These thresholds are set during onboarding and automatically recalibrated as you log workouts.
Language
Switch the app interface to your preferred language.
✅ Tip: The Settings & Profile menu is where you can always update your information. If your schedule, fitness, or goals change, this is the first place to go so REN can adjust your plan.
