Once you've connected your Garmin account to REN, your runs will be automatically imported into the app. After each imported activity, you’ll be asked to provide a quick bit of feedback — and this step is key to helping REN personalize your training.
How to Give Feedback
After a workout is imported into REN, you’ll be prompted to answer two simple questions:
1. How hard was it?
Use a 1 to 10 scale to rate how challenging the workout felt:
1 = Extremely easy
10 = Extremely hard
This helps REN understand how demanding the session was, regardless of what the workout was supposed to be.
2. How did you feel?
Select one of five smileys to show your overall feeling during or after the workout — from feeling great to feeling completely worn out.
This emotional check-in gives important context. For example:
A workout might have felt very hard (8/10) but you still felt strong and happy afterward 😊
Or it could have been an easier session (4/10) but you felt tired or off that day 😐
Why This Matters
Your feedback helps REN:
Adjust future workouts based on how you're responding to the training
Spot trends in your performance or recovery
Tailor your plan so it stays challenging but manageable
The better the feedback, the better your plan adapts to you.
