If your Garmin watch is showing km/h during runs, you can switch it to min/km by changing the watch’s unit and pace/speed settings.
Option 1: Change units on the watch
On your Garmin watch, hold the MENU button (or long-press UP on many models).
Go to Settings → System → Units.
Set Distance to Kilometers.
Set Pace/Speed to Pace (this will display min/km).
Option 2: Fix the data screen (pace field)
Sometimes the watch is set correctly, but your run screen is showing a Speed field (km/h) instead of Pace.
Open Run (or your running activity).
Hold MENU.
Go to Run Settings (or Activity Settings) → Data Screens.
Select the screen you use during workouts.
Replace Speed with Pace (or Average Pace) to see min/km.
If it still shows km/h
Make sure you’re editing the Run activity (not Cycling or another profile).
If you use Garmin Connect, you can also check:
Garmin Connect app → More → Garmin Devices → select your watch → Device Settings → Units
After updating, start a short run and confirm your field shows Pace (min/km) instead of Speed (km/h).
